Question: Greetings, I bought an original Boomerang for my young lad who loves blasting around the works car park. Recently I've noticed that the rear drive shafts, wheel Axles and Gear box joint are starting to get chewed up (the previous owner installed a brushless motor and ESC). My question is can I replace the rear drive shafts, wheel Axles and Gear box joint with the parts included in the 2008 release (part No 9805551,50823 and 9808129? They look as if they could be a little more “meaty” but I’m worried that the geometries of the 2008 release will be different from the original… Any thoughts ??

The wise one answers:

They should be fine. All the plastics are exactly the same so the new parts have been made to fit around these. Have fun!
