skid, I have been getting more and more interested in getting me a vintage wild willy. The problem is should i look for a short wheel base one or a long wheel base one. And most importantly how do i tell the difference? |

The wise one answers:
Well, ther are many changes they did to the Wild Willy over the years it was sold. The main alterations were the side metal rear arm mounts. The SWB version had round holes in them and the LWB had elongated holes. The plastic rear arms were also made longer and they gearing was modified too. There is some info over at www.Tamiyaclub.com about this if you can find it.
The SWB are worth more, but if you want a runner the LWB is best. |
