Hi skid does running in soft dry sand like in the tamiya promo videos cause rapid wear and tear?are any mods required to the car?car is a re re hotshot.cheers prof. |

The wise one answers:
Soft and dry sand really doesn't do much damage at all as it runs off everything. Watch out for where you have say grease in the drive cups because anywhere sand can stick will cause grinding. Wet sand is much worse! Always clean the dry sand off after though. Tyres are normally not worn at all in sand. They do dry out though due to the salt in the sand so worth washing them when you get home and treating with something like a silicon based car bumper protector product. |
