The wise one answers:
Hmm it depends on what's slipping, check that your driveshafts are ok, worn out ones will slip in the cups and it's best to change axles, cups and shafts if this is the case, you could even try new and cheaper parts from the re-re FAV, the older hex design of these shafts is prone to this. Also make sure they're engaging ok and your trailing arms aren't flapping around. Failing that i could well be the diff, again re-re parts and a rebuild shoud solve it. If you hold the back wheels and gently rev it should be obvious where the sound is coming from and where it's slipping. |
