Stunning car! Not so stunning price!..

By moosey - Saturday 10th March 2012

What an amazing looking bit of kit! LOVE IT!!! I do like the original box art but this is nice too. Prices are high though and these were never that good to run in the first place. So a lot of cash to have on the shelf doing nothing and it's not even vintage? I'm saying nothing about the Bush Devil 2 :-/
Sorry to put a downer on things all the time, but Tamiya are trying to make 'money out of old rope' so to speak. They need to concentrate on fantastic new R/C car idea's.. MODERN CLASSICS?

Yes it's true, the old XR311 has now been released 3 times! I still love those tyres though! Shame they don't fit anything else.

'Super' Hotshot!?

By moosey - Saturday 18th February 2012

I must admit I'm really fed up of Tamiya re-releasing everything from the first 100. But, this is one that got me a little excited as it's one of my all time favourites!!! What is going on with the name though??????? Why not just call it a 'Supershot'? Coming soon anyway...

The Bruiser is BACK!!!

By Stevo309 - Wednesday 1st February 2012

It seems that absolutely anything is possible when it comes to these re-releases from Tamiya and they are never going to end! The latest shocker is the Bruiser release just announced! I like what Tamiya have done with this one by creating a more modern and reliable 3-speed gearbox and axles but the price tag might scare some people, retail being quoted at $1295! Hopefully this hefty price tag and the changes will help preserve the value of the original but i doubt it!

Me like very much it's is a lot of money £729. In modelsport when it is released I will have to start saving.
